Burkina Faso: Najmanje 100 civila ubijeno u terorističkom napadu u selu Yaghga

Najmanje stotinu civila ubijeno je u terorističkom napadu koji se dogodio u selu Yaghga na sjeveru afričke države Burkina Faso, prenosi Anadolu Agency (AA).

Novinska agencija Burkine Faso AIB javlja da su teroristi u noći sa petka na subotu izveli oružani napad namještane sela u regiji Sahel.

Napadači su zapalili više kuća i lokalnu tržnicu.

U napadu je ubijeno najmanje stotinu civila, a strahuje se da bi bilans smrtno stradalih mogao i rasti.

Predsjednik Burkine Faso Roch Kabore proglasio je trodnevnu nacionalnu žalost zbog stradanja civila u selu Yaghga.

Burkina Faso je od 2015. godine poprište čestih terorističkih napada. Prema podacima Ujedinjenih nacija (UN), teroristički napadi na vojsku i civile su primorali na raseljavanje 1,1 milion ljudi u Burkini Faso.
